National Seminar: e-Learning Technology for e-Learning

Supported by two IGI Institutes, SMKN 2 Buduran Sidoarjo and Politeknik SAKTI Surabaya, IGI e-Learning division successfully conducted one-day national seminar at SUN Hotel Sidoarjo, June 6, 2009.

The seminar was attended by more than 300 participants and opened by the Learning Sub-Directorate, Directorate of Technical and Vocational Education, Ministry of National Education, Mustaghfirin Amin and GTZ-IGI Team Leader, Rudy Djumali.

Besides inviting an e-Learning expert from Germany, Benjamin Z. Gregorian as a keynote speaker, the seminar also presented other e-Learning experts from IGI institutes such as Rudy Ariyanto from Politeknik Negeri Malang talking about e-Learning concepts, Juniza Pratama from IGTC Bogor delivering free open source software application, Wahyu Purnomo from VEDC Malang presenting the e-Learning content development, Djarot Mudjianto presenting LMS concept and Ida Zuraida from SMKN 6 Bandung discussing about model of learning evaluation in e-Learning. Enthusiastically welcomed by the publics, fifty participants got free vouchers to join e-Learning course in IGI.
